Introduction
In Bihar, most women grow up with little education and few opportunities to earn a livelihood. Through the Bridge of Hope Sewing School, Transformation India Movement equips women to create a better future for themselves and their families. With six months of Christ-centered training and their very own pedal-powered sewing machine, women graduate with both the skills to start a micro-enterprise and the hope found in Jesus Christ.
Challenge
Women without education or skills remain dependent, vulnerable, and trapped in cycles of poverty—unable to support their families or experience independence.

Through the Women Empowerment Program, TIM provides:
